






...Four of Trevor’s uncles were proficient pianists and he was encouraged to bring his drum kit along to family gatherings where he learned to play strict tempo along with songs from the 30’s and 40’s.
Later there were stints with Hendrix and Cream cover bands until early 70’s with a band called Skint (they were) and then ventured into Nutbush – a 5/6 piece vocal harmony band – strong contenders in the Pub Entertainer of the Year competition running at the time.
There followed a very successful run with the popular band ‘Mainstream’ (including backing musicians such as Les Dawson!)
For several years Trevor played in cabaret bands and deputised for drummers of several
other bands and was asked to join the band Mid-
Trevor has been with popular Sussex band Them Again for several years now venturing out on jazz, blues and funk bands in the interim where his musical influences lie.
INFLUENCES: Most of the Blues greats, Hendrix, Oscar Peterson, Herbie Hancock, Deep Purple, Beatles, Glen Miller, Stefan Grappelli. Django Reinhardt, Yes, Eagles, Steely Dan.
Drummers influenced by and admired: Louis Belson, Chris Koran (Dudley Moore Trio) Steve Gadd, Carl Palmer, Ian Paice,
